Role Overview
We are searching for a proactive and dynamic UK Business Development Manager who possesses an intricate understanding of the 3PL sector, able to accelerate growth initiatives for the UK&I.
Your role will be pivotal in formulating and executing strategic plans to secure and retain clients, bolster revenue streams, and establish further dominance in the space.
Key Role Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies focused on driving business growth.
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with potential and existing clients.
- Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams to tailor innovative logistics solutions aligned with client requirements.
- Conduct thorough market analysis, assess competitor landscapes, and integrate customer feedback to refine strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Deliver persuasive presentations and negotiate contracts effectively to secure new business ventures.
- Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and conferences to elevate brand presence.
Candidate Requirements
- Have a Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain background at Business Development Manager level or above. - Essential.
- Proven track record in 3PL Warehouse Contract Logistics sales with a minimum of 5+ year's experience - Essential.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills - Essential.
- Strategic mindset coupled with a strong business acumen, pivotal in driving revenue growth - Essential.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities - Essential.
- Commutable across the UK, with a specific focus across the Wigan region - Essential.
Salary & Benefits Package
- Basic Salary - £55,000 to £60,000 (DOE)
